![]() ![]() Ting resells sprint service and allows voice/text roaming on verizon's network. You'll also want to look at a sprint coverage map for the areas you normally are. You should look at your last 2-3 verizon bills to see what your current usage is and get an idea of what your ting service would cost. They'll often do some level of contract buyout and generally it's still cheaper over the next 2 years to buy a phone, pay verizon's etf, and start ting service than it is to finish verizon contract, buy a phone, and start ting service. That's the only phone I'd recommend anyone get that they sell right now though. So I'm guessing it's the 3G version, that they're offering right now, and they're just wrong. Since there's 2 versions of that phone, one that is 3G only and has no micro SD port and one that has $G LTE AND has a micro-SD port. Odd note: it's kinda weird that they offer the Motorola Moto G and say it's 4G compatible but has no micro-SD port. Still, nice to know there's more competition out there. But Cricket doesn't have any nice smartphones either, at least Virgin has a nice LG that's 4.5" and running the latest Android. Looks like a legit offer, when I was on ATT 10+ years ago their coverage was terrible. Oh, did you mean ATT? Never heard of AIO before, I'll have to check them out.Įdit: Ah, so AIO is now Cricket and is now owned by ATT. I really hate their business practices, unlike Ting or Tmo. Their mindset is just so "looter", so parasite. In order for Ting to use them they'd have to stop being so absurd, many executives would have to go for this to happen.
